Ino Zeljak was born in Zagreb in 1987. While finishing his BA degree in Biology and Environmental sciences at the Faculty of Science he enrolled in the undergraduate course at the Department of cinematography of the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb.
After getting his Bachelor’s degree in cinematography in 2014 he enrolled in the graduate course of photography where he is now finishing his senior year.
In 2014 he was one of the finalists at Rovinj Photodays, an international festival of contemporary photography, in the category of nude photography. The main selector of the festival in 2014 was Tod Papageorge, and Zeljak consequently scored 2nd place in his category.
He was also selected as a finalist at the Gloria Photo Talent Campus (2014) by Peter Lindbergh.
He has participated in several group exhibitions and won his first solo exhibition via the /First/Shot/ competition organized by the Klovićevi Dvori Gallery (2014).
In 2015 he became a member of ULUPUH (Croatian Association of Artists of Applied Arts), was selected as a finalist of the T-HT award of modern arts (held at the MSU – museum of modern art of Zagreb) and the ESSL Art Award CEE also held at the MSU.
